The Medicine – We use at Roscore Clinic

Roscore clinic provides an alternate health care service augmented by western herbal medicine and the specialist clinical panchakarma of Ayurveda.  At present, Roscore Clinic can supply about 60% of herbs for our natural herbal treatments.  We are so proud of our herb garden.  At Roscore Clinic we use plants and plant extracts from our very own herb garden, where possible, in the treatment and prevention of disease.  At Roscore Clinic we practice Natural Herbal Medicine and use the plant and herbs themselves which contain many constituents  ‘just as nature intended’. We mainly use imported herbs for Panchakarma treatments. We are gradually including Irish herbs in this treatment.

One of the unique aspects of this clinic is that we are adapting medicines which are used in various parts of the Arogyadham Hospital under the supervision of Dr. K.K. Harikrishnan, and Dr. Subeesh Chittur, Arogyodayam Hospital, and Vaidyagrama Hospital.  , and also the Scottish School of Herbal Medicine, run by Keith Robertson and Maureen Robertson, both of whom are world-class physicians, and who have done an immense service to the spread of natural medicine throughout these parts, Europe, and across the world.

We use our medicines, to treat patients directly. Emmett Walsh, Medical Herbalist at Roscore Clinic sees patients as part of a consultation. We use our medicines in the Panchakarma treatments, these specialist treatments that we practice here to provide a more intensive type of treatment to patients who require these types of interventions.

At Roscore Clinic we treat most medical conditions e.g. asthma, bronchitis, COPD, cold and flu, back pain, general aches and pains, digestive disorders, childhood disorders, common mental health issues, fertility treatment, cardiovascular disease, and many other ailments.

Herbal Medicine is suitable for people of any age, including children, who respond especially well to the gentle actions of herbs. Each patient is treated as an individual – a Medical Herbalist recognises that no two patients are the same.
